I posted this cartoon so late and had trouble entering anything in this area so I just left it blank. I really tried to spend a lot of time with the hands in this toon and hope it shows. While I’m still no master by far I have vastly improved over time. If I was starting over today my cartoon characters would all have only 4 digits instead of 5.
The joke in this toon came from a conference call my wife was on. A department, not hers, was proud of a tool they created for users to reset passwords. The problem was discovered that the link to use the tool was behind the firewall. Subsequently those who needed their passwords reset could never get to the link. Even the ebst developers and IT folks sometiems forget key things. Like once we were having email issues and I asked everyone to log out until I was finished fixing it. Someone asked me how they would know I was finished and I told them I’d email them. I only wish I had been joking. As I said it out loud I realized my error.

This would be funny except that I’ve had this happen to me in real life. You have to wonder if maybe the IT folks have been exposed to too much radiation from all the monitors or maybe the temperature in the server room is just too darn low… anywho, once in a while I think they all need to be “rebooted”….
