It’s funny all those trips I took as a kid with my family all packed up tight in a crowded car. The irony is my favorite trips are those visiting those people I was stuck with on those trips. We are on an end of the Summer vacation visiting my parents. My folks garden is playing out but there is still enough to over stuff myself at every meal. I’ve also enjoyed seeing my oldest sister and hope to see my youngest sister before the end of the trip. My oldest brother lives here but he doesn’t speak to me, that’s another long and stupid story. Except for my favorite brother, who lives back in Texas near me, all my immediate family lives in Kentucky. I really like visiting here. Although it is hot here it’s not exactly as hot as back in Texas. Maybe it is as miserable but it cools off rather nicely here though.

    Every panel in this toon is based on actual events here Monday. I love hanging out with my Mom and Dad but they keep very busy. I get worn out just trying to keep up. That and over eating also wears me out. I probably won’t gain any weight because my Mom cooks healthy, mostly, these days and I sweat off anything extra I eat. I did not do any shading on this toon because I just did not want to spend the time working that hard. After all I’m on vacation. I’m hoping to get Thursdays toon done early so I don’t have to scramble later to get it done in time.
