Old Debates Never End

Old Debates Never End

As I grow older I’ve just gotten weary of debates of any kind. I just get too caught up in my own opinion and sadly I have little room for change for the most part. I guess that makes me an old man, now get off my lawn!

As one of the few people with my political views in my church circles there are always comments being made around me. I am able to keep my mouth shut some of the times. There are times I’m too far out numbered to let my views get me in trouble. For instance: I went to a gun show this weekend, while I lean slightly left in some things I am a 2nd Amendment fan. So at the gun show I see thousands of anti-Obama and anti-Democrat. While some of the stuff is funny some of it is very questionable. I just keep walking though and try not to look like I disapprove, afterall I may want to buy something there. Which I did. :)

It is all good though. There are a few people I can have rational debates with, which probably has to do more with them than me. The folks I can’t debate rationally probably has more to do with me than them.

I really resemble this in a mirrored image. I am ultra conservative and I am not going to change probably but I also know that I am not going to change other people so I had rather not argue. I am not getting old… I am already old and I’m not on your lawn… I’m on the sidewalk and the city owns the sidewalk. My dog is on your lawn so call the cops on him. Ha!
    Great strip today.

Just remember good friend, you are always wrong and we will get along.
