I spend a lot of time making fun of users so I figure every once in a while I need to turn the tables on myself. We have gotten so dependent on communicating with email we have few other ways of communicating widely. We have to communicate days before any activities. In emergencies we try and tell people what is going on but usually in an emergency we are very busy. Luckily we don’t have many outages. I have actually told people we’d email them when email is working again. The first time was a mistake and now I just do it to mess with them.
This cartoon was kind of tough as I’m still fighting through my vertigo. I have meds but they make me very tired. So either my head spins or a am a zombie. The doctor says it should be gone within the week. I’ll survive, at least it’s gotten better.
Well, that stinks! Vertigo is quite distracting, to say the least.
You should have been here at the conference to meet with the groups in the IT track and sell your books…met one yesterday that said their meeting on servers was as exciting as a revival. You’d have loved it.
