My friendship with my buddy Sam is actually going on for over 20 Years now. In the time I’ve know Sam we’ve seen a few million changes in our personal lives. When I first met him I was a field tech and working on mini and main frame computers. While PCs existed I did not own one. At work I did use a modems that were 300 baud, it was a good thing the data transfered was small. The biggest disk drives I worked with were 300MB and were the size of dishwasher. As for Sam he has not changed that much, he’s still a great guy and a big pain.
The orange background is for him as he is a big University of Texas fan. I apologize to my wife for the orange background as she is a grad of Texas A&M and bleeds maroon.
During the last presidential election when everyone was talking about change I made the statement, “You don’t have to vote for change.” “Change is coming whether you want it too or not. If you are not prepared for it you could get run over by it. ” No at the age of almost 60 I sometimes feel like I have been run over by it.
