A Complicated Password

A Complicated Password

This based on oneof my favorite users at work, she has told me I could use her experience in a cartoon.  Kathy has a great password, it is so good it is easy to mess up, and she has. Our network only allows 3 tries and then locks out the account. The real problem, other than along and complicated password, is Kathy has several accounts at work and they are all different. The toon is not meant to look like her, I’m not a good enough artist, it is just to represent her.

I did this toon on my 2nd smaller laptop. My older everyday machine is having some physical problems with the hinge and is near impossible to use. It’s been a great tablet for around 6 years now. I’m going to attempt taking it apart and fix it but I’m afraid I may break the case. All that said, I’ll most likely clean up the cartoon a bit during lunch tomorrow. I had a different final panel intended but came up with a better version that was funnier.

  1. Bo Lumpkin says:

I hope she doesn’t use the same system on her burglar alarm!

  2. Kathy says:

I caught myself making the mistake today. I know what I did and why I did it. It’s a slight slip of the ole dyslexic side of the brain. I flip numbers and letters that look similar sooo….I invented a new character for my password…just kidding. I caught myself redhanded or finger and I hope I don’t fall for it again.
This is funny.I like the way the geek doesn’t even acknowledge her he just keeps on typing and fires off his one line response. She like me is unfazed. The Geek gets the last word as usual. It made me laugh.
