To start, know that I don’t do websites for anyone but myself and not that well even then. It was just an example for the toon. There is a technique for getting people to leave us techies alone and that’s just making our asking price too high for them. I suppose I would do a site for $150/hour , but the site would be extremely expensive and suck extremely. If the person wanted to help I would for sure charge more.
It’s been a long time since I have done any side work. When I did sometimes a client wanted to “assist” or watch while I worked. When this occurred it usually increased the time it would take to come up with a solution. That said, if someone really wants to learn I’m glad to help them, just so long as they don’t argue. Sometimes the less someone really knows about PCs the more they think they know. A little knowledge is a terrible thing. If anyone calls themselves a computer expert, be suspicious.

If the less someone knows is a benefit then I should be in wonderful shape. (Sorry I got behind on the strip. I have been doing my civic duty and serving on jury duty. I didn’t get picked though because they settled the trial before they even chose a jury.)
