An Extra Long Hug For My Daughters
  Last week or before this would be just a typical sappy dad cartoon that I do every once in a while. I admit to being reduced to this by two very special girls, 3 if you include my wife, which I usually do. There was a tragedy for a friend/co-worker’s family over the weekend that has shaken us all. So today’s toon may be as much therapy as anything else for me. I have a feeling my girls will all be getting extra hugs for the next few weeks. My heart aches for the family. When you think of it the next time you are around your kids give them an extra hug.

You can never be reminded too often to pay closer attention to those you love. No family that I know of ever became disfunctional because everyone cared too much.
