A few weeks ago my wife had to take her car in for service. Since it was going to take several days she rented a car, and a cheap one at that. Both of my girls were excited about playing with the windows. They had never seen, or could not remember, not having power windows before. Because they love to roll windows up and down, with the buttons, we usually lock control out from them or the windows in the back go up and down like an elevator constantly. With the manual windows they could not be locked out so they really enjoyed themselves apparently. My youngest was the most enthralled as my oldest realized there is a lot more work involved when the windows are not powered, she is certainly daddy’s girl.
In the same realm, some friends of our at church bought their teenage son an older car. They relayed how he stood outside the car perplexed for a long time as he did not know how to unlock the door. He did not realize that you could open a door with the key. In fairness I don’t even know the last time I opened a car door without a remote. So it would be possible for him and younger kids to have never seen this in practice.
On the art front, while I feel there is still huge room for improvement, I’m pleased lately with my attempts. I think my technique is getting better. A little more improvement and that will be one more item from my new year’s resolutions to cross off. I already can cross off a regular schedule, and a professionally done logo thanks to Krishna Sadasivam.

ROFLMAO!!! YES! We can so identify with that in this house. Kids can’t believe there were once KNOBS on a tv.. that you TURN. HAHAHA
I definitely see an improvement in the comic’s art, btw. It’s looking good!
