My Daughter the Penguin Lover
On Good Friday I took my youngest daughter Grace to the zoo. My oldest Emily was going to the movies with a school buddy. To tease her I told her they were having a special day with the penguins and that people could get in the pen with them. Of course it was not true and she did not believe me and ignored what I was saying. We did take 2 pictures with my cellphone that I later blended together to make it look like my younest was petting one of the penguins. I did it in a hurry so it did not look good. When we showed the picture to Emily she was really upset. Did I mention Emily LOVES penguins? She ruined our fun because she really got sad about it and nearly cried. Again, Emily really LOVES penguins. We let her off the hook which then nearly made her mad and she did cry this time. Later she said our joke would have been funny if it had happened to someone else. I guess humor is in the eye of the victim.
Later I’ll post our fake photo, if I had taken more time it woud have looked better. I guess it was good enough. You can be the judge.

HAHAHAH! Poor Emily. but ROFL at Dad and Grace and the photo gag! (Penguins have a special place in our family’s hearts, too. I feel Emily’s double dose of pain.)

Children should be protected from this type of “cruel and unusual punishment”…lol

Ha! I love it! you’re my kind of sick, twisted father . . . and your daughters will probably turn out as warped as my Zach!

Groaning at you making your daughter cry. Laughing is one thing but really making her cry? Mean old thang. She will probably need therapy later in life just because of “the penguin incident”. Bad, bad daddy.
