 This was a line from a co-worker on Monday. I am going to a church retreat this weekend and one of the subjects will be sexual purity. I do think it is a worthy goal to wait until marriage. I don’t know how realistic it is but still a worthy goal. The problem is when you only teach abstinence the kids can go out in the world very ignorant and have higher changes of STDs and pregnancy. I’ll keep this opinion to myself. I have two young daughters and I plan on equipping them with ALL the information they need and will have to trust the will make good decisions in life.
