 We just got back from vacation. Our pug Jack is getting expensive as each year he needs more medical attetion when we board him. The normal pug seems somewhat calm but jack has always been hyper and loves everyone. He jumps and spins when he is around people. He just loves life, even though he has only one eye. I really did not do him justice in this drawing, nor my wife. I’m working slowly on another comic that I plan on using Jack as the main character. It will be a huge departure from what I do now, hopefully I’ll draw him better before then. When/if I do the 2nd comic, it’ll have a story line and I’ll get most of it done before I publish.
Some of the lines in this toon were from my wife in an IM telling me she picked up Jack and what it cost. I loved the way line about “he thrives  in the joy of being Jack”.
