Wasting Time On FaceBook

Wasting Time On FaceBook

This has not happened…….yet. I’m sure it is just a matter of time. Again the “bad guy”who just doesn’t ‘get it’ is my generic Pastor/exeututive. I use him as there isn’t anyone on staff that looks anything like him. If we ever do hire someone with this look I’ll have to change the dupe character. He is one of my favorite characters because I can get out all my frustrations with him by making him a victim of his own ignorance.

On a side note, I’m really getting into Facebook and Twitter much more so than I ever expected. It really is coming in handy to know what is going on with everyone here at the church I work at. I feel like I’ve gotten to know people much better and now have things we can talk about at the coffee area. It also looks like because of my Twitter feed and Facebook status I’m actually picking up more visitors to this site. I guess folks did not use RSS as much as I thought they might. The reminders the status area alerts them much better and more timely than RSS ever did.

Ha, it’s like saying someone had there eyes open during a prayer.

That is true about the status updates as well. In a few seconds i can see what’s going on with people, which can really be a lot of fun…which has been surprising.

Isn’t this “bad guy”who just doesn’t ‘get it’ the same one who is the George Bush Jr. fan?

    Just sayin’…..

    Barry,
I would have never known you were so creative if it weren’t for facebook!
Facebook is fun and I use it as a technology tool at the elementary school I work at….it is a good way to get comfortable with technology and get to know people better.
